- From the preview request form: your business name, industry, email, and optional phone + notes.
- From the reel submission form: your email, business name, and the video file you upload.
- From paying me: Stripe handles your card. I never see the card number, only the email, name, and amount Stripe shares back with me on a successful charge.
- From visiting the site: standard web logs (IP, browser, page) via Cloudflare, the host. No analytics scripts. No tracking pixels. No social-share buttons that phone home.
Privacy, plain English.
I'm a one-person business. I don't run ad networks. I don't sell anyone's data to anyone. Here's exactly what I collect, why, and how to make me delete it.
Privacy policy
- To reply to you (email).
- To build your site (business name, industry, notes).
- To accept payment and issue refunds (Stripe).
- To run the site reliably (Cloudflare's logs, kept ~30 days for abuse + uptime).
- Stripe processes payments. Stripe's privacy policy.
- Cloudflare hosts the site and serves the pages. Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- FormSubmit.co forwards your form submission to my inbox so I get an email when you send something. FormSubmit's site.
- That's it. No advertising networks. No data brokers. No "marketing partners."
- Preview requests that don't convert: I delete the email thread after 90 days unless you've asked me to keep in touch.
- Active clients: I keep what I need to maintain your site and bill you.
- After you cancel: I delete everything except the bare minimum I'm legally required to keep for tax records (Stripe handles most of that).
- Reel video clips: I keep the raw clip until the edited version is posted, then delete the raw.
Email me at ren@getfoundlocals.com with the subject "delete my data." I'll confirm within 72 hours and wipe everything I have under your email + business name. If you're a paid client, I'll also note what I had to keep for tax purposes (Stripe charge records).
Most of my outreach and replies are drafted by software I built (it's called Vanta). I review the drafts and the rules it follows are mine, but the typing is automated. If you'd rather talk to me directly instead of the auto-reply lane, just say so in any reply and I'll take you out of it. The design choices, the prices, and the website work itself are still me, doing it personally.
